Geethika Kanumilli, a creative visionary with an exceptional attention to detail, knew from an early age that she aspired to lead her own fashion house. Determined to turn her dream into reality, even as a curious child, she began searching for opportunities to seize. However, during her pursuit of a degree in Fashion Design from NIFT, Hyderabad, fate intervened and she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that impaired her vision, reducing it by half.
Although heartbroken, Geethika remained persistent and made a firm decision to challenge her destiny and conquer her greatest fears. With only a handful of initial clients and no prior business experience, she established her eponymous label in 2015, fueled by a strong work ethic and a determination to harness the power of her pain.
As enterprising as she is today, Geethika‘s inclination towards designing blossomed during her early childhood. Her mother’s effortless style and innate elegance deeply inspired the designer, appreciating the simplicity and sophistication she exuded.
